Welcome!

I am glad you are here. My love for dolls and clothes began long ago when I had a very large collection of paper dolls. I kept them all in a box. It was fun to go through the clothes and make believe about parties and vacations and adventures.

This carried over to my real dolls of course and lovely homemade clothes sewn by my mother. Once when mom was sewing snaps and buttons on coats and dresses while we watched television. I asked her who they were for and she simply said that she was making them for the poor kids who wouldn't be getting much for Christmas. She sewed a lot of things for bazaars and her guild group at church so I thought nothing about it until Christmas Eve when I received a new doll and those same fashions for her to wear. she did sew for the poor, but talk about a creative way to keep a secret!

I carried on a tradition of sewing for my own girls, both for them and their dolls. Now I sew for granddaughters and other girls who share a love for playing with dolls.  I plan to share some of these creations with you on my blog in the coming weeks and days.
